I was born 8th May 1928 at 35 Horslow Street and from 1931 have lived at no 46.
I was first elected to Potton Parish Council in 1955. I am a past Chairman of that Authority also a past Chairman of Biggleswade Rural District Council and a past Chairman of the Mid Beds District Council. I have been a Governor of Burgoyne Middle School for 28 years and a past Chairman. I am a regular worshipper at St Mary’s Church, a holder of many church offices and a past Church Warden of some 36 years. I am a member of the History Society and the present Chairman of the Potton Consolidated Charities having been a trustee for 35 years.
