Have your say on the East West Rail consultation

East West Rail are consulting on proposals for the Bletchley to Bedford and Bedford to Cambridge lines.

East West Rail will provide a fast train service connecting communities between Oxford and Cambridge.

The section between Bletchley and Bedford is in the detailed planning stage and the section between Bedford and Cambridge is at the early planning stage.


Bletchley to Bedford
The proposals include changes to the Marston Vale line which runs through Lidlington, Ridgmont, Milbrook, Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands.

There are two virtual public events relating to these proposals:

• Tuesday 13 April, 7pm-8pm
• Thursday 13 May, 2pm-3pm

Bedford to Cambridge
There are also proposals for the route between Bedford and Cambridge, this includes an option for a possible new station at Tempsford.

There are two virtual public events relating to these proposals:

• Thursday 15 April, 11am-12pm
• Tuesday 11 May, 2pm-3pm
