Potton is marking the Centenary of the end of the First World War by holding a Day of Commemorative Events on Sunday 11th November 2018. View the poster for more information.
Also, please do look out for the Tommies which will be appearing around the town between 1st and 10th November. Potton Consolidated Charity has funded the ten six-foot high figures, which are a life-size silhouette of a First World War Soldier. The Tommy is a symbol of remembrance created by the charity Remembered, as part of their project “There But Not There“. The aims of the project are to Commemorate, Educate and Heal.
