Potton Apple Day
Its been a good start to the year for apples so we are looking forward to Potton Apple Day on the last Sunday in September. This year, it will be on Sunday 28th September from 12pm to 3pm on St Mary’s Church Field.
Our annual celebration of apples and orchards is a fun, informative, family day out. Bring your mystery samples to have them identified. Please do collect up any spare apples as these are the backbone of our Potton Apple Juice. Bring them on the day to the Apple Amnesty area, or let us know and we’ll collect them the week before if we can.
There will be apple juice and real cider for sale on the day, along with food and live music, displays of Bedfordshire apples and an apple identification service. As it looks like it’s going to be a good harvest, we also expect to have unusual varieties of apples for sale.
Watch out for details locally and on social media. ‘Like’ Potton Apple Day Facebook page for event details, as they’re confirmed.
