Depending on the incumbent Chairman of the Town Council, an annual Civic Service or Community Celebration will be held.

Civic Service
The Chairman of the Council will hold a Civic Service each year and dignitaries are invited to attend. Residents of the town also have the opportunity to attend this event.

Community Celebration
In 2026, the Chairman of the Council will hold a Community Celebration. The event is to celebrate and give thanks to individuals, groups and businesses that contribute to the community of Potton.
