Christmas Bin Collection Dates 2017
Residents are reminded they can recycle wrapping paper, Christmas cards, crackers, packaging and aluminium foil in their kerbside recycling container. Glass jars, wine and beer bottles can be taken to your local bottle bank.
Real Christmas trees will be collected for recycling during week commencing Monday 8 January 2018 until Friday 19th January 2018 only. Once the festivities are over, residents are requested to simply leave their real Christmas tree next to their bin on their normal waste or recycling collection day. Trees should be placed separately (not in any bin or bag) and residents are reminded that no other garden waste will be accepted. Trees should be no taller than 5ft with trunks no greater than 3 inches in diameter.
Alternatively, residents can recycle their real Christmas trees at the Biggleswade Tidy Tip, Bells Brook, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire SG18 0NA.
