• Be empowered to take decisions and actions to improve the community they live in.
• Form partnerships with local and national organisations.
• Promote respect for each other and the community.
• Encourage all young people to have a voice and believe their views are valued.

Following the Government’s decision on 14th June to extend the current Covid restrictions, it is with the greatest regret that The Trustees of Potton Hall for All have decided to cancel the Midsummer Bash event planned for 27th June 2021. We would like to thank all those who have worked hard to try and make the event possible as well as the public who were going to attend and support us, but we know everybody will understand that public safety remains paramount.
If you have purchased tickets these will of course be refunded. Please follow our Facebook page and website http://www.pottonhallforall.org.uk/ for further details.
The Town Council are aware of the recent discourse in the town regarding the lack of grass cutting. Over the past month, the council has been in dialogue with CGM requesting they fulfil their contract to cut the grass to specification, including to strim around all street furniture. To date they admit to being at least three weeks behind schedule, but have failed to provide any form of explanation. We apologise for any inconvenience and we continue to press CGM for a solution.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Caretaker to carry out caretaking and cleaning activities.

Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) is inviting the local community to have their say on a proposed ‘green corridor’ around Potton.
CBC has worked alongside Potton Town Council, Sutton Parish Council and Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BedsRCC) to create plans for a ‘Green Wheel’ which will circuit the town, providing a green corridor for Potton residents to enjoy.
The draft plans show that the Green Wheel could provide an important landscape and biodiversity resource for the town to enjoy and encourage walking and cycling both around and in and out of the town. The idea is to use and enhance existing public paths and create new additional routes to form a more formal continuous circular network of paths around the community of Potton.
CBC would now like to hear the community’s views on the proposals.
The public consultation will run from Monday 24 May to Monday 5 July 2021.
Full details about the proposals and a questionnaire for residents and stakeholders can be viewed on CBC’s website.
The consultation questionnaire and summary Green Wheel document are also available during the consultation at the Potton Town Council Office and Potton Library.
Representatives from the Town Council, BedsRCC and the Potton Green Wheel Development Group will be available to explain more about the proposal and hear your views on:
• Saturday 19 June at Potton Seasonal Market, Market Square from 9:00am – 1:00pm
• Tuesday 22 June at Potton Community Centre, Brook End from 10:00am – 2:00pm
• Thursday 24 June at the Pavilion, Mill Lane from 4:00pm – 8:00pm
